Zinfandel is typically a wine that is meant to be consumed within the first 2 to 5 years of bottling, though it can be aged up to 10 years under perfect cellar conditions.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Only five barrels were made of this every limited production wine. This vintage saw the addition of some stellar Petite Sirah, which deepened and darkened the color and flavors, and added layers of complexity.

Aromas of wild berry, vanilla, cranberry, and nutmeg give way to hints of black pepper and cardamom. The wine is fresh and lively on the palate, and finishes with more exotic spices and a tantalizing suggestion of cherry pie.
