WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Grown in top vineyards across the Napa Valley, Starmont Cabernet lots were hand selected for their rich and robust flavors and fine tannins. Harvest took place in the early morning to keep the fruit as cool as possible. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes for this wine were carefully sorted and de-stemmed, but not crushed, leaving over 90% whole berries. The berries and juice were cold soaked and fermented, and then aged for 13 months in French Oak.
Voluptuous aromas of cassis, black cherry, vanilla bean and cedar leap out of the glass.
Our favorite pairings include roasted meats or a Kobe Beef Burger.
