WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This Chardonnay was grown by Larry Hyde in a block of his Carneros vineyard planted to a mix of flavorful, aromatic clones. Tropical fruit notes combine with flavors reminiscent of baked apple resulting from barrel fermentation by native yeast in French oak. The wine was in barrels on light lees until racking and bottling in April of 2005.
