WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This is the third Merryvale vineyard-designated bottling from low-yielding Clone Six vines in the Beckstoffer familys Vineyard Georges III in Rutherford. The fruit was harvested about a week earlier than in previous years. The wine is very dark purple, rich and round with good density. This vineyard consistently shows fine texture and supple, balanced tannins.
