1999 Cabernet Sauvignon - Beckstoffer Vineyard X
This is huge, dense, potent, jammy and wild. Then it lasts with fruit and alcohol in a whomp of flavor. Given some air, the wood tones seem carved out of the fruit, and the detail begins to show: chocolate, fresh cherry, with an acidity crisp as parsley. Put some down in the cellar.
