2009 Chardonnay, Carneros
People are talking about Merryvale wines! Here are a few of our most recent awards and accolades for this 2009 Chardonnay, Carneros.
2009 Chardonnay, Carneros
Pure, ripe and layered, with complex oak evident from the start, joined by ripe apple, pear, citrus and honeydew melon flavors. Medium- to full-bodied, with depth, focus and persistence. Drink now through 2017.

2009 Chardonnay, Carneros
Plenty of well-ripened, apple-like Chardonnay fruit is in place to balance the ample oak that is to be found at every point here, and the two work together to make for a deep and wonderfully rich wine. While a fairly big wine, it is also a nicely constructed one with a solid spine of structural acidity warding off any sense of heaviness. It is long and layered and reveals a little more with each sip, and it is destined for better if its plentiful pleasures can be ignored for a few years.
