2007 Sauvignon Blanc, Juliana Vineyards, Napa Valley

Foster says that the honey that is so apparent in the nose comes from the 2% Semillon in the blend, while the oily texture comes from the fact of lees stirring and the absence of malolactic fermentation. The steely lemon and lime core of the wine comes, obviously from the Sauvignon Blanc. It's a good fit, however you wish to explain it.
