2003 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Merryvale's '03 Reserve doesn't quite show the complexity of the Clone 6 or Vineyard X bottlings, but then again, it's nowhere near the price. And as rich as it is, it's a comparative bargain. With luxuriously soft tannins, it's opulent in black currant, cocoa and new oak flavors that finish long and smooth.
